Maker Zones

A membership provides access to a technology playground filled with fabrication equipment, supplies, and a diverse array of creative people. We’re divided into several different maker zones. Anything with “Yellow” or “Red” power tools requires completion of a Safety Orientation before you can use that Zone.

3D Printing

Bring your 3D models to life without the hassle of maintaining a printer. We manage an assortment of entry-level FDM printers, and a high-end 3D scanner.

2D Printing

Paper isn’t dead. Access a reliable printer/copier/scanner, wide format printer, electric paper cutter, and a variety of office supplies.

Model Shop

Small tools for small projects. Cutting tools and drills that pair well with 3D printing and electronics projects, plus other random things like a button maker and jewelry tools.

Kitchen

Our social gathering spot. Cook a meal to share (or not), host a cooking class, or set up catered food for an event.

Laser Cutter

Pew pew! A computer controlled laser that can accurately cut through woods and plastics, and engrave just about anything else.

Electronics

Keep the electrons flowing with soldering irons, power supplies, test equipment, and an assortment of components and wire.

Fiber Arts

The ultimate crafting area! Along with our sewing machines, sergers, and embroidery machine, we have vinyl cutters, jewelry tools, and general crafting supplies.

Woodshop

From cutting boards to pens to furniture, everything needed for projects large and small. Utilize our bandsaws, planer, jointer, table saw, and drum sander to get lumber to size, then finish with our array of hand tools, sanders, and lathes.

Welding

Fabricate with steel and aluminum. Our MIG and TIG welding stations are complemented by grinders, horizontal bandsaw, plasma cutter, chop saw, and flexible workbench space for larger projects.

Metal Shop

Take it down to the thou with our precision metalworking tools, including a CNC mill, manual mill and lathe, metrology tools, as well as an assortment of small power tools and sheet metal equipment.

Glass

For glass projects, we have kilns for fusing and enameling as well as stained glass cutters and grinders.

Prototyping Center

Tools and space for big projects, serious prototyping, or short-run manufacturing. Studio Space is set aside just for hardware startups.
